A Red Shoes Murder Mystery
a Gourmet Whodunit

at The Metropolitan Club
in the Sears Tower

October 22, 2005

ChicaGourmets! and Red Shoe Events have teamed up to raise funds for the charity Ta-Da! International by co-hosting The Red Shoe Murder Mystery Dinner Party, a fine dining event held at The Metropolitan Club in the Sears Tower. All proceeds will go to support Ta-Da! International.

The party will take place in the gorgeous Ontario Room which will be decorated Victorian Style for this very special event. In the plot line, H.G. Wells is murdered because his time machine has altered the fate of the characters at the dinner. There are only sixteen roles to be claimed. Characters such as Mae West, W.C. Fields, Isadora Duncan, Charles Lindbergh and other notables will be at the table to solve the mystery. Agatha Christie will be on hand to point out the clues. All roles can be requested during registration and are given with payment on a first come-first serve basis.

In 1885, The Time Machine is published. In it the characters fates are altered thus thwarting the ambitions and desires of those at the dinner party. Select your favorite character and join Agatha Christie in solving our whodunit and in raising glasses to the popular Victorian toast:

"To taste of Bacchus' blessings now and then".

Our victim, H.G. Wells
