"Kitchen of Light: The New Scandinavian Cooking" Award-winning Chef John Coletta will serve a menu from recipes in Andreas Viestad's book "Kitchen of Light: The New Scandinavian Cooking," the companion to his public television series of the same name. (The program is scheduled to soon air locally on both WTTW and WYCC.) Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing. At 30 years of age, Norwegian Andreas Viestad is one of Scandinavia’s most acclaimed food writers. He is a columnist for Dagbladet, Norway’s leading national newspaper, and has published several award-winning cookbooks in his native country. His latest book, the companion to his upcoming public television series, is intended to be a cultural, geographical and romantic exploration of Scandinavia through its cuisine.
